PURPOSE:
To ensure safe transport, delivery, and retrieval of leased equipment or vehicles while performing basic mechanical inspections, preventive maintenance, and on-site repairs as needed. Plays a dual role by supporting both the transport and technical servicing needs of the company.
qualifications:
- At least High School graduate: vocational training or NC II in Automotive Servicing or related field is an advantage.
- At least 1–3 years of combined experience as a driver and mechanic.
- Holder of a valid Professional Driver’s License
- Knowledgeable in basic mechanical diagnostics, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting (especially for diesel- and gas-powered engines).
- Familiarity with safety procedures during transport and repair.
- Must be physically fit and capable of lifting or working around heavy equipment.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Willing to be assigned to different locations.

duties and reponsibilities:
- Drive and deliver leased equipment or vehicles to and from client sites in a safe and timely manner.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the mechanical condition of the vehicle or equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, battery checks, and tire inspections.
- Assist in diagnosing mechanical issues and performing minor repairs on-site or in the company’s service area.
- Coordinate with the maintenance team for more complex repairs or part replacements.
- Maintain cleanliness and order of assigned transport vehicles and tools.
- Complete trip logs, delivery receipts, and maintenance reports accurately.
- Ensure that all transported items are secure and comply with load and safety regulations.
- Respond to roadside breakdowns or emergency service calls as needed.
